AM Consultant is an independent French company, founded in 2009, as a provider of expertise in anti-infective development and microbiology for a broad range of international companies. AM Consultant is located at Pont-de-vaux in the Rhone-Alpes area (Ain, France).

Dr. Michel Vallé acquired his expertise and experience over a 10 year period while working in anti-infective research and development at the head of the microbiological laboratory and as a scientific manager for microbiological development of a top ranking international veterinary pharmaceutical company.

Dr. Michel Vallé has a Ph.D. in microbiology and biochemistry Life and Health Sciences from the University of LILLE I in 1996. His doctorate thesis was carried out at the AFSSA organisation based at the Boulogne-sur-mer (France) laboratory. Initially, he obtained a first degree from the University of Lille I in natural science and molecular physiology completed by a post graduate diploma from the Technology Univerisity of Compiègne (France) in biotechnology, microbiology and biochemistry. Afterwards, he worked in various public sector positions as well as in industrial quality assurance. 

Working principally to meet the requirements for European regulatory registration, Michel Vallé has developed and demonstrated a broad yet specialist experience. He is able to answer all questions concerning the pharmaceutical, innocuity and efficacy parts of the registration dossier. He can offer amongst others the following services:

      - Answering different technical problems regarding microbiology (identification, anti-infective evaluation or molecular research),

      - Propose adapted solutions for the screening of new molecules (experience on a large range of anti-infective classes),

      - Develop European micro-organisms collections,

      - Develop new approaches for anti-infective evaluation of efficacy as well as antimicrobial resistance evaluation: using classical methods as well as alternative methods (PK/PD modelling),

      - Be the interface between firms and subcontractors for pre-clinical studies and certain specific expertises,

      - Develop new studies and write scientific arguments to achieve a risk assessment for antimicrobial drugs,

      - Write articles or present data in scientific or marketing communications,

      - Provide expertise relating to pharmaceutical microbiological controls or developments regarding the European pharmacopeia requirements.

      - Provide experience concerning GLP as well as GMP: lab organisation, procedures.

With significant experience of antimicrobial molecule screening, resistance issues and involvement in microbiological risk evaluation, AM Consultant can provide expertise on safety and efficacy issues necessary for obtaining the registration or renewal authorisations. With significant experience relating to the redaction of scientific articles, posters and communications, AM Consultant is able to present data effectively and in an adapted manner according to the requirement.
